Podcast host Dale Barzey-Pond talks to Courtney Hogenson about how she came into nursing in a roundabout way but felt that she was always going to be a caregiver of some sort because that was the example her family set. She would like to see the reimbursement model for nurses change. She sees nursing going back primarily to the home where patients are most comfortable. She feels that nursing is on the verge of something really great and would advise new nurses to find a mentor or a group to share ideas and broaden horizons.
